“People Will Talk, But I’m Focused”—Kalonzo Fires Back
When asked about alleged night meetings aimed at scattering the opposition, Kalonzo didn’t hold back.
“Forget that foolishness,” he snapped. “People will talk; they are our fellow Kenyans. They have the right to imagine,” he added. “If wishes were horses, beggars would ride,” he concluded.
“I will go to campaign anywhere in Luo Nyanza,” he declared. “These are our friends. They know our history,” he added. “No amount of intimidation will come my way,” he vowed.
Kalonzo also revealed that Raila Odinga had invited him to ODM’s 20th anniversary celebration. However, he politely declined.

Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen recently hinted that Kalonzo should join President Ruto. Kalonzo, however, reiterated his commitment to opposing the Kenya Kwanza regime.
“I’m firmly set on battling the ruling regime,” he affirmed.
Public Reacts to Kalonzo’s Bold Stand
Kenyans have responded emotionally to Kalonzo’s remarks. Some praised his courage, while others questioned his strategy.
“We need leaders who speak boldly and act decisively,” said a voter in Kisumu. “But unity in opposition is also key,” added another.
