Gachagua Confirms Gathering Evidence to Take Ruto to ICC

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has sent shockwaves through the political arena after revealing his bold plan to drag President William Ruto to the International Criminal Court (ICC).

While addressing Kenyans in Seattle, Washington State, Gachagua claimed that the government, under Ruto’s leadership, has committed heinous crimes that must not go unpunished.

“I want to confirm that I have put up a team that is documenting all the atrocities, the killings, displacements, disappearances, and abductions taking place in Kenya,” he declared.

He added that the evidence would be presented to the ICC in The Hague.

“We have a team that is putting evidence together to take William Ruto to the ICC,” Gachagua boldly stated.

“The First ICC Case Was Just Paused,” Gachagua Reminds Kenyans

According to Gachagua, Ruto’s previous ICC case, linked to the 2007 post-election violence, was never concluded.

“That case was not closed. It was only suspended because witnesses disappeared,” he claimed.

This time, however, he assured Kenyans that there would be no loopholes.

“We are making sure every piece of evidence is watertight. He must face justice,” he insisted.

The Bloodshed Behind the Call for Justice

The Kenya National Commission on Human Rights (KNCHR) reported that more than 30 people were killed during the recent Saba Saba protests.

The violence broke out in Nairobi and other counties, as police reportedly teamed up with armed gangs. These gangs allegedly wielded machetes and spears, targeting peaceful demonstrators.

This, according to Gachagua, qualifies as a crime against humanity.

“The level of fear and violence in the country is unbearable. Kenyans live like prisoners,” he lamented.

“Diaspora Must Rise and Join the Liberation,” Gachagua Urges

Gachagua pleaded with Kenyans living abroad to support his campaign. He emphasized that change would only come if everyone played their role.

“That is a battle that I would like to invite you to help in,” he urged the Seattle crowd.

“We have no other recourse to save our country other than sending Ruto home.”

He is currently in the US to drum up support for his Wantam agenda, which aims to “restore dignity, truth, and justice” in Kenya.
