CCTV Captures Alleged Abduction of City Lawyer in Nairobi as Family Demands Answers
The footage shows the lawyer running towards a residential property before an armed man, dressed in black and carrying what appears to be an AK-47 rifle, catches up with him.
As the lawyer struggles to open the gate, the suspect allegedly grabs him by the neck and drags him to the ground. Another man then appears and kicks the lawyer in the stomach as the confrontation escalates.

The lawyer’s whereabouts remained unknown in the account provided, while his family sought assistance from security agencies and the courts.
CCTV Footage Shows Armed Men Seizing Lawyer
According to the footage description, two additional men carrying rifles appear during the confrontation, seemingly monitoring the scene as the attack unfolds.
A black sport utility vehicle (SUV) is then seen arriving. The assailants reportedly blindfold the lawyer before forcing him into the vehicle and leaving the scene.
Some of the men allegedly concealed their faces, while others appeared without face coverings.
The sequence of events has raised questions about how the alleged abduction was carried out and whether the individuals involved were acting together.
However, the identities of the suspects and the circumstances surrounding the incident had not been independently established in the information available.
Lawyer’s Vehicle Reportedly Damaged
Reports indicate that the assailants also damaged the lawyer’s vehicle during the incident.
The vehicle was reportedly towed to Kilimani Police Station as investigations into the disappearance were being pursued.
Investigators would need to establish the identities of those captured in the CCTV footage, trace the vehicles reportedly used and determine the lawyer’s whereabouts.
The footage could provide important leads, although its contents alone would not establish the identities or motives of the people involved.
Family Raises Alarm Over Lawyer’s Disappearance
The lawyer’s family has reportedly demanded swift investigations, saying attempts to reach him were unsuccessful because his mobile phones remained switched off.

The alleged connection between the disappearance and the legal proceedings has not been independently confirmed. Investigators would need to establish whether the case had any link to the incident and identify those responsible.
No direct statement from the lawyer or confirmation of his condition was included in the available account.
Family Seeks Court Intervention
In a further effort to establish the lawyer’s whereabouts, his family reportedly filed an urgent application at the Milimani High Court.
The application named several security agencies, including the National Intelligence Service (NIS), the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), the National Police Service (NPS), the Counter Terrorism Bureau and Military Intelligence.
The family is seeking court intervention to compel the agencies to produce the lawyer and clarify what they know about his disappearance.
The application places the focus on whether the named agencies can provide information that may help locate him. Their inclusion in the court proceedings does not, on its own, establish that any of them was involved in the alleged abduction.

As the family awaits answers, the central questions remain where the lawyer is being held, who was responsible for the incident and whether the alleged attack was connected to his legal work.
Investigations and any subsequent court proceedings are expected to help establish the facts surrounding the disappearance.
