Gachagua Alleges Poison Plot: “They Wanted to Kill Me on Sunday”
Speaking from his Karen home on Monday, May 19, Gachagua alleged that government operatives were ordered to eliminate him.
“While attending a church service in Gatanga Constituency yesterday,”
“I received intelligence reports that there were orders to have me dealt with once and for all,” he revealed.
According to him, the plan was not a quick hit. Instead, it involved biological agents meant to slowly destroy his brain over three months.
Police Replaced Hired Goons, He Says
“Since the goons sponsored by the state on several occasions had failed,”
“Police and other state security agencies had to come in,” he added.
Even more shocking, he claimed that a few “patriotic officers” exposed the plan to him just in time.
Weapons Were to Be Planted in His Convoy
In a disturbing twist, Gachagua said police officers were ordered to plant guns and explosives in his convoy.

“We received further intelligence from the deployed patriotic officers,”
“They had clear instructions to plant arms and weapons in our convoy,” he said.
“This was to create false evidence to arrest and charge us in court,” he explained.
He insisted that the mission was politically motivated and orchestrated from the highest levels.
His Homes Surrounded, Lawyer Raises Alarm
Later that same Sunday, Gachagua’s residences in Karen and Wamunyoro were surrounded by armed police. His lawyer, Ndegwa Njiru, quickly raised the alarm.
Gachagua claimed he had to reroute his journey home to avoid arrest and protect his security team.

“They wanted to block me and disarm my bodyguards,” he said.
“Disarming them would have left me completely exposed.”
Defends Controversial 2027 Remarks
The former DP also defended his previous statement on the 2027 elections, which many viewed as inflammatory.
“This was a precautionary statement and not incitement,” Gachagua insisted.
“It’s based on the chaos we saw in 1992, 1997, and 2007.”
“We must have a free and fair election in 2027.”
“I Won’t Be Silenced”
As tension continues to rise, Gachagua says he will not back down.
“They may try to silence me, but I will not be afraid,” he said firmly.
