In his fiery speech, Matiang’i left no doubt about his political ambitions. He passionately called for urgent reforms to rebuild trust in government.
“There is no day I have never been serious,” Matiang’i declared. “I am ready to fight for this country. We need to clean our country so that people can trust the government again. What we are going through is temporary; we must not turn against each other but focus on fixing the nation.”
The crowd erupted in approval, welcoming his bold stance.
“Our resolve for a better Kenya remains unmatched,” Gachagua stated. “We must make sacrifices beyond personal ambition for the sake of our children.”
Gachagua celebrated the gathering’s diverse leadership, symbolizing a broader national unity.
“The plan to divide Mt. Kenya has collapsed,” he said confidently. “Kalonzo is here with Wiper, Eugene Wamalwa represents the Mulembe nation, Senator Seki Lenku from the Maa community, and Matiang’i from the Omugusii. The mountain stands united.”
“You will be nowhere in the picture, prof. Sadly, with no numbers behind you, President William Ruto will have to shift base. Read the signs and realign your political future.”
Meanwhile, Rotich Edwin stood his ground, defending Kindiki:
“Kithure Kindiki stay focused on delivering for the Kenyan people. The nation will rally behind you come 2027. The opposition, devoid of vision, has nowhere meaningful to turn.”
