A friend close to the actor said that Wanjau had been battling illness for several months before his demise. Fellow actor Sandra Dacha also confirmed the news in a heartfelt message shared on social media.
“It is with profound sorrow that I announce the untimely passing of my colleague Bilal Wanjau this early morning due to complications,” Dacha wrote.
