Speaking boldly, Salasya described himself as “the only opposition leader in Kakamega.” He criticized the Social Health Authority (SHA), calling it a scam and blaming the government for the failing healthcare system.
“I told the president to appoint me as his advisor because those around him are misleading him. Right now, people are dying in hospitals, and the healthcare system has collapsed,” he stated.
“If healthcare was truly functioning, even if registration was only in Nairobi, people would travel there to register. Instead, leaders are playing political games,” he said.
Mumias MP Salasya Vows to Be the Greatest President in Kenya’s History
The MP urged the government to prioritize healthcare, calling it a basic right that all leaders must protect.
Presidential Dream: “I Will Outshine Kibaki”
Salasya has made it clear—he believes he is destined to be president. He describes himself as a unique and charismatic leader who genuinely cares about Kenyans.
“I think I am unique, lovable, comical, intelligent, and blessed with the wisdom of God. I will go to heaven after serving my country diligently,” he boldly declared.
His vision? To be the greatest leader in Kenya’s history. “I will be the best president Kenya has ever had since independence—outshining even the late Mwai Kibaki—because of my good heart and commitment to serving everyone,” he said.
“I will be a historic president who will never be forgotten even 1,000 years from now,” he stated.
A Vocal Government Critic
Even as he dreams of the presidency, Salasya continues to challenge President Ruto’s policies. He remains outspoken, frequently calling for better governance.
