MP Bernard Kitur Claims Life in Danger Over Kidney Syndicate Exposé
Appearing before the National Assembly Health Committee on Thursday, June 5, the legislator did not hold back. He painted a terrifying picture of state-linked intimidation, involving not only hospital officials but also senior DCI detectives and local leaders.
“It so happens that when I was getting this information, my security was compromised, even as late as yesterday evening,” Kitur told the committee.
DCI Officers Allegedly Tracked, Blocked His Vehicle
On Wednesday night, events took a more dangerous turn. Kitur claimed his official car was tracked and blocked around Brookside in Eldoret.
“Yesterday at 11.30, my vehicle around Brookside was blocked by a DCI vehicle. Officers in it were one Osman Ndiema and a driver,” he said.
Although Kitur was not in the car, his employees were returning from picking critical documents related to the case.

“They’re Acting on Political Orders,” MP Says
Kitur pointed fingers at Uasin Gishu County police commandant and the DCIO, accusing them of taking instructions from Kesses MP Swarup Mishra.
“The intimidation was by the county police commandant and the DCIO and his team,” he emphasized.
This bombshell comes amid growing concern over illegal organ harvesting in Kenya.
Victims Lured, Paid Pennies, and Silenced
Kitur further disclosed how two victims—both Kenyans—were lured into selling kidneys with false promises. One was promised Ksh1.2 million, but received only Ksh50,000 before the surgery and another Ksh400,000 after.

“Their ID cards were confiscated and replaced with alien ID cards. These were used to tamper with hospital records,” Kitur revealed.
He added that the victims are now facing heavy pressure not to testify. Some are even being bribed with money to stay silent.
Global Syndicate Exposed
This story goes far beyond Kenya. In April, Deutsche Welle, ZDF, and Der Spiegel exposed an international syndicate where foreign recipients pay up to $200,000 (Ksh25.9 million) for organs from vulnerable Kenyans.
Kitur Vows Not to Back Down
Despite the threats, Kitur remains defiant.
“They can scare me, but they won’t stop me,” he said.
