Another UDA MP Claims Her Life Is in Danger, Blames Govt: “I Feel Vulnerable”
Speaking on Friday, May 13, Kihara delivered an emotional plea during a press conference. She revealed that her security detail had been suddenly withdrawn, leaving her feeling vulnerable and exposed.
“I feel so vulnerable now. I feel so exposed,” she told the press, her voice shaking with fear.
“Mr. President, Let Me Live”
Kihara didn’t hold back. She directly appealed to President William Ruto, demanding her security be restored.

“Mr. President, give me back my security officer or my bodyguard,” she urged.
“I am a very small person to be fought with a big punch. It’s not fair. Please let me live.”
“You know our work involves travelling and moving around at night,” she added.
“Why Punish Me for My Political Choice?”
The MP defended her political decisions, expressing disappointment over the withdrawal of her protection.
“I have said many times. I am neither a baby nor am I a fool,” she stated firmly.
“I am someone who can make my own decisions, like I did when I supported William Samoei Ruto.”
She reminded the President of their past alliance, highlighting her role in Ruto’s rise to power.

“I was all over this country campaigning for him when we exited Jubilee,” she said.
Kihara also warned against using state machinery to silence allies of Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
“If anything happens to me, let the President be held responsible,” she declared.
Pattern of Threats?
This alarming statement comes just days after Uasin Gishu MP David Kiplagat reported anonymous death threats. Letters were found outside his home warning him not to leave.
In response, Soy residents took to the streets, staging a six-hour protest demanding action.
The public is now calling for serious investigation into the threats against MPs, fearing a dangerous pattern may be emerging inside the party.
Nation Watches As Tensions Escalate
As pressure mounts on the government, citizens, civil society, and political observers are urging the President to act. With two UDA MPs now crying out for safety, the stakes are higher than ever.

The nation is waiting — for justice, for answers, and for protection.
