KNH Murder Horror: Prime Suspect Kennedy Kalombotole Faces Justice Over Chilling Patient Deaths
Kenyans gripped by fear and fury as court hears of spine-chilling hospital killings.
Kalombotole was arraigned at Kibera Law Courts on Tuesday, July 29, over the horrific killings that have shaken the nation. However, he did not take a plea.
Instead, the court ordered that he undergo a mental health assessment at Mbagathi Hospital before his trial officially begins.
Meanwhile, the court directed that he be detained at Industrial Area Remand.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) revealed shocking details, including the recovery of blood-stained slippers believed to belong to Kalombotole.
The senseless killing of Edward Maingi has left families and the public demanding justice and accountability.
KNH CEO William Sigilai confirmed the horrific incident.
“The patient was found dead after visiting hours, at around 2 p.m.,” he stated, sparking alarm about patient safety.
Interior CS Aden Duale condemned the murders and pledged urgent reforms in hospital security.
“As a Ministry, we must safeguard the lives, rights, and dignity of all patients,” he said.
“We are committed to ensuring that such a tragedy does not happen again.”
Meanwhile, questions linger over how a suspect with no medical records or guardian continued to dwell within hospital wards undetected.

Public outrage continues to swell as Kenyans take to social media, demanding justice for the victims and greater security in public hospitals.
As the investigation unfolds, the country watches with bated breath. Will justice be served? Will systems change?
The victims’ families, meanwhile, wait in agony for closure and answers.
