Kizza Besigye’s Wife Winnie Denies Leaking Museveni’s Son Muhoozi’s Alleged Birth Certificate

Kizza Besigye’s wife, Winnie Byanyima, has found herself at the center of controversy amid her husband’s ongoing political struggles. As Besigye fights for justice, Winnie is battling allegations of leaking a document allegedly showing the birth details of President Yoweri Museveni’s son, Muhoozi Kainerugaba.

Viral Document Sparks Controversy

A document recently surfaced online, purportedly revealing Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s birth details. It claimed Muhoozi was born in 1974 at Loitokitok General Hospital in Kenya. The document listed his father as Yoseri Tubuhaburwa Rutabwasirwa, allegedly from Rwanda and working in Uganda, while the mother was identified as Hope Rwaheru from Burahya, Uganda.

Social media went wild, with many questioning the authenticity of the birth certificate and speculating about its origins. Some accused Winnie Byanyima of orchestrating the leak to discredit the first family.

Winnie Byanyima Responds

Dismissing the accusations, Winnie Byanyima took to social media to clear her name. Reacting to a tweet that mentioned her alleged involvement, she firmly denied any connection to the document.

“Indeed, I have nothing to do with this document,” she wrote, shutting down the rumors.

Despite her statement, the debate continued, with netizens weighing in on the matter. Many supported Winnie, while others pressed for more clarity regarding the document’s authenticity.

Social Media Reactions

The leaked document and Winnie’s denial ignited mixed reactions:

@monicah_mugo: “If the wind shifts or the rain delays, they’ll still blame you, Mama. Regardless, we love you!”

@arihopeter2: “You are a rare woman, Winnie. Let’s keep pushing!”

@MethodiusN: “You’re a fine person! That’s what matters most.”

@DavidLolins: “Shed some light on the authenticity of the document.”

@darius23351: “We wouldn’t want to think the CDF is an adopted child.”

The debate shows no signs of cooling, as Ugandans continue to demand clarity over the origins and legitimacy of the controversial document.

Muhoozi’s Explosive Allegations Against Winnie

Adding fuel to the fire, Muhoozi Kainerugaba recently took to Twitter, accusing Winnie of being a homewrecker. He claimed she disrupted his father’s marriage and had to be forcibly removed from the Museveni household in December 1986.

According to Muhoozi, she was dragged into a car and sent back to her parents, a claim that sparked outrage among Ugandans. Many criticized Muhoozi for sharing private family matters, calling his statements disrespectful and unnecessary.

Political Firestorm

The exchange has once again highlighted the deep political and personal tensions between the Museveni and Besigye camps. With Uganda’s political landscape already charged, this controversy adds another layer of intrigue to the ongoing power struggles.

As the dust settles, the truth behind the leaked document remains unclear. However, Winnie Byanyima remains steadfast in her denial, refusing to be drawn into what she calls baseless accusations.
