This statement didn’t come lightly. Wamalwa revealed that a powerful coalition is taking shape—one modeled after the legendary 2002 NARC wave that ended President Moi’s era.
A Reunion of Political Giants
“We’ve learned from the past,” Wamalwa emphasized. “Ruto will try to divide us, but we are building a united team.”
He believes this alliance is grounded in history and strategy. The coalition already includes Martha Karua, Kalonzo Musyoka, JB Muturi, and notably, former Interior CS Fred Matiang’i—whose inclusion Wamalwa announced with pride.
“Fred Matiang’i is joining our team. You see that 2002 team coming together. We’re rebuilding that NARC moment,” he declared.
He further described it as a reawakening of the team that brought change in 2002 under President Kibaki’s leadership. “Ruto is a student of Moi. We beat Moi then—we’ll beat Ruto now,” he added.
United by Common Goals
This coalition isn’t just about elections. It’s about the people. Wamalwa criticized the Kenya Kwanza administration for burdening Kenyans with high taxes.
“You may suffer today because of taxes,” he said. “June is approaching, and more taxes are coming.”
“We’ll Beat Ruto in Round One!” Wamalwa Unites Opposition with Matiang’i Onboard
Wamalwa insisted that this alliance will avoid previous pitfalls that divided opposition forces. “Some individuals are being encouraged to go off on their own,” he warned, “but we’re staying focused.”
With growing support from central Kenya, Ukambani, and western regions, the movement is quickly becoming a national wave.
