DCI Officers Arrest Woman After Medics Discover Cocaine Inside Her Body
Everything began with a routine highway search. DCI officers were screening passengers in a Marsabit-bound Toyota Probox when the woman refused to cooperate. While others calmly complied, she threw a tantrum.
“Her defiance raised red flags, and Moyale detectives swooped in, escorting her to Moyale Sub-County Referral Hospital for a closer look,” the DCI revealed.
Hospital Scan Reveals Hidden Pellets
Doctors, working closely with the detectives, carried out an in-depth examination. The result? Shocking.

Inside her body, medics found eight tightly packed pellets of cocaine. The drugs weighed 414 grams. Street value? A staggering Ksh1,656,000.
“The seized cocaine, with an estimated street value of Ksh1,656,000, is now safely locked as an exhibit, while the woman cools her heels at Moyale Police Station, awaiting her day in court,” the officers confirmed.
Repeat Offence Sparks Alarm
Even more alarming is the fact that this isn’t an isolated case. Just a day earlier, DCI officers arrested a 28-year-old woman smuggling 290 grams of cocaine. Like the latest suspect, she had concealed the drugs in her body.
She was intercepted at a roadblock along the Moyale-Nairobi highway. Suspicious behavior gave her away.
“The guilty ones are always afraid. Female law enforcers isolated the 28-year-old for a thorough search, thereby confirming their suspicion,” the detectives narrated.
Growing Crisis in Drug Trafficking
These arrests highlight a growing concern in the war against drug trafficking. Smugglers are now resorting to desperate, dangerous methods to move illegal substances.
More worryingly, the use of women as mules shows how far traffickers are willing to go to dodge law enforcement.
