“Spiritual leadership must stand firmly on truth, righteousness, and the defense of innocent life,” Wachira stated. “When leadership actions create confusion, division, or moral discomfort among believers, it becomes necessary to take a principled stand.”

“You have heard the growing calls for justice, accountability, and moral clarity. These cannot be ignored, especially by spiritual leaders who have a responsibility to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves,” he added.

Wachira suggested that such invitations risk creating division within the church community, especially at a time when young believers are demanding accountability and transparency from leaders.
“This is about conviction, not rebellion. I will provide more information on my resignation, but for now, I stand by the principle that leadership must be accountable to truth and righteousness,” he affirmed.
