Babu Owino Fires Back at Caleb Amisi Over Road Project Claims: “Better, Not Bitter”
“Another Bitter Soul Detected” — Babu Breaks Silence
Speaking on Wednesday, Babu expressed shock at Amisi’s remarks. He said he never expected such accusations from someone he considered a close ally.

“I also thought that Caleb Amisi was my friend, but anyway, it is another bitter soul detected,” Babu stated.
He questioned why the national government would only build roads in Embakasi East and not in Saboti or other constituencies.
“If the national government were doing roads in Embakasi East, how come they’re not doing roads in his constituency?” Babu asked.
“Opposition Yet Development?” — Babu Challenges Logic
Babu further wondered why a government he often opposes would choose to develop his constituency.
“Why would a government I criticize bring development to Embakasi East?” he posed.
He insisted that the roads were part of his own efforts and not national government initiatives.
“Better Instead of Bitter” — Advice to Amisi
In a sharp yet composed tone, Babu advised Amisi to focus on serving his people rather than criticizing others.
“Be better instead of being bitter,” Babu urged. “Work for your constituents. That’s what matters.”
He encouraged Amisi to emulate his approach and highlight progress rather than downplay it.

“It’s KURA’s Work” — Amisi Defends His Claims
“That is not Babu’s work. It is the work of KURA,” Amisi said. “What Babu does is take the photo and post.”
He added that other MPs also have road projects but choose not to publicize them.
“Even in Saboti, there’s a road from Shanti to Matisi. I won’t post about it. That would be dishonest,” Amisi stated.
“Kenya Mpya Faces Internal Heat” — Rift in Emerging Movement
This public spat has raised questions about unity within the movement and whether personal rivalries could derail its momentum.
“We need to stay focused. Let’s not fight each other,” a Kenya Mpya supporter commented.
