“We appeal to motorists to cooperate with officers as we manage movement. The measures will ensure safety for fans, teams, and emergency services,” Chirchir stated.
He added that additional officers will be deployed along key routes to guide road users.
“Stern action will be taken against violators. Please follow instructions and use the advised routes,” he warned.

Roads to Be Affected
The main disruption will be along Thika Road, the gateway to Kasarani Stadium.
From CBD to Thika: Motorists must use Kiambu Road at Exit 4. Police will place a roadblock at Muthaiga.
From CBD to Mwiki: Vehicles must divert through Ruaka–Baba Ndogo–Lucky Summer–Nairobi River–Mwiki.
From Thika, Juja, Ruiru to CBD: Drivers will use the Northern Bypass or Kiambu Road. A roadblock will be at Ruiru interchange.
From Githurai to CBD: Motorists are advised to use Githurai 44 via Kiambu Road.
From CBD to Stadium: Fans heading to Kasarani without official vehicle access passes must use service lanes at Exit 7 and Exit 8.
“We expect huge numbers of fans. Early arrival will ease pressure on the main road and entry points,” Chirchir advised.
