Morocco Fights Back
Despite the early setback, Morocco refused to crumble.
In the 27th minute, Youssef Mehri leveled the scores with a calm finish. The equalizer reignited Morocco’s rhythm as their supporters sang louder.
Just before halftime, their star striker Oussama Lamliouli struck again. He pounced in the 44th minute, turning the tide in Morocco’s favor.
The Atlas Lions went into the break 2-1 up, but the game was far from over.
Madagascar’s Brave Response

The ball soared, dipped, and smashed into the net. Kasarani erupted.
The technical benches could not believe it. Morocco’s coach, Tarik Sektioui, put his head in his hands in sheer astonishment.
“That was pure magic,” one Moroccan official was heard saying on the sidelines.
With that, Lamliouli sealed the win and claimed the tournament’s golden boot.
Morocco Crowned Champions
