KeNHA expressed deep concern over the growing trend. Politicians have plastered posters over critical road signs, endangering motorists.
“It has come to the attention of the Authority that road signs have been defaced with posters, including those of campaigning candidates in areas scheduled for by-elections,” the statement read.

“The public is cautioned against this act, as it proves to be destructive to motorists plying the affected routes, which could lead to road incidents and possible loss of lives,” the statement added.

Public Urged to Report Vandalism
KeNHA called on citizens to help protect road infrastructure. Residents should report any defacing or vandalism to the nearest KeNHA office or police station.
This warning comes as IEBC prepares for by-elections in Baringo and six National Assembly constituencies: Banissa, Kasipul, Magarini, Malava, Mbeere North, and Ugunja.
