Kajiado Horror: Man Kills Girlfriend, Calls Police Before Disappearing

Kajiado residents are in shock after a brutal murder rocked their community. A 27-year-old man, Denis Kipkirui Kemei, allegedly killed his girlfriend, Risper Ngendo Munene, in cold blood.

After committing the horrific act, Kemei made a chilling call to the police, directing them to the scene of the crime before disappearing without a trace.

How the Murder Unfolded

According to police reports, Kemei worked as a caretaker at a house in Olooltepes sub-location, Oloosirkon location, Isinya sub-county. On February 3, Ngendo, 24, visited him.

However, her visit took a deadly turn. The details of what transpired inside the house remain unclear. But on February 8, detectives discovered her lifeless body in a locked room.

The chilling discovery came after Kemei phoned Isinya Police Station and confessed to the crime. He then vanished, leaving authorities scrambling to find him.

Scene of the Crime

When officers arrived at the scene, they found the house locked. Inside, a gruesome sight awaited them.

Ngendo’s body lay on the bed, covered with a blanket. Her limbs and neck bore dark marks, and her body was swollen. These signs suggested she had been strangled to death.

The house reeked of decay, indicating that the murder had happened days earlier. The body was immediately transferred to Nairobi Funeral Home (City Mortuary) for a postmortem.

Investigations Underway

Preliminary reports suggest that Ngendo had traveled to visit Kemei, unaware of the tragic fate awaiting her. Now, detectives are working tirelessly to uncover what led to the heinous crime.

Meanwhile, authorities have launched a manhunt for Kemei. Police urge anyone with information about his whereabouts to report to the nearest station.

Community Demands Justice

Residents of Kajiado are outraged and heartbroken. Many are calling for swift justice for Ngendo.

“This is horrifying. No one deserves such a painful death,” said a neighbor who knew the couple.

Activists and women’s rights groups have also condemned the killing. They demand immediate action against gender-based violence, urging authorities to act fast.

Conclusion

Ngendo’s brutal murder adds to the rising cases of femicide in the country. As police intensify their search for Kemei, her grieving family and friends hope for justice.

No one should suffer such a tragic end. The nation watches, waiting for answers.
