Huduma Kenya Expands Public Service Access Through New KSG Partnership Across 16 Centres
The initiative, announced by Huduma Kenya, marks a significant step in the government’s broader push to decentralise public services and strengthen access to governance and leadership training outside major urban centres.
According to a public notice released by Huduma Kenya, the rollout has already commenced in Uasin Gishu County and will gradually extend to 16 Huduma Centres nationwide as part of the first implementation phase.
The pilot programme was officially launched at the Uasin Gishu Huduma Center, where government officials described the move as part of ongoing efforts to improve efficiency, accessibility, and convenience in public-sector service delivery.
In a statement accompanying the launch, Huduma Kenya confirmed that the partnership would allow Kenyans to register and access various KSG programmes directly from Huduma Centres.
“Kenyans can now access Kenya School of Government (KSG) services at Huduma Centers, following today’s launch at Uasin Gishu Huduma Center,” the agency stated.

“The rollout covers 16 Huduma Centers nationwide, expanding the service offering and bringing services closer to citizens,” the statement added.
The new arrangement is expected to particularly benefit public servants and professionals in counties that previously had limited access to Kenya School of Government services, which have traditionally been concentrated in a few regional campuses.
Among the services now expected to be accessible through the Huduma Centres are mandatory leadership and integrity programmes for public officers, specialised governance training, and public administration courses aimed at improving accountability and service delivery within government institutions.
The move comes at a time when the Kenyan government is accelerating the digitisation of public services under the Digital Superhighway agenda, which seeks to modernise service delivery and reduce bureaucratic delays across state agencies.
Officials familiar with the initiative say the inclusion of digital training reflects growing demand for technological skills among civil servants as ministries and departments continue transitioning to online systems and integrated government platforms.

Through the partnership, more than 180 programmes currently offered physically and through e-learning platforms by the Kenya School of Government will gradually become accessible through the selected Huduma Centres.
The development further highlights the expanding role of Huduma Kenya, which has increasingly become a one-stop centre for government services ranging from identification documents and civil registration to business permits and digital applications.

The full list of the 16 participating Huduma Centres is expected to be released as the rollout progresses in the coming weeks.
