Teachers, parents, and learners were advised to send the student’s assessment number to 22263 at a cost of Ksh30. The SMS service will provide the full KJSEA results, including the learner’s selected schools based on their career pathways.

“To check a KJSEA learner’s selected schools, send their assessment number to 22263. The SMS costs Ksh30,” read a notice from Kenya’s leading telecommunications company.
“The results of the national examinations will be released before or by December 11. We are ready to handle the transition of all learners into senior secondary schools,” Bitok told the press on November 17.

According to the Ministry of Education, learners will be able to access their placement letters before December 25 and are expected to report to their new institutions by January 12, 2026. The ministry emphasised that the transition process is critical to ensuring continuity in the CBC framework.
Fraud Concerns
The announcement comes amid warnings from KNEC about fraudulent individuals posing as insiders and promising to alter examination results in exchange for money.
“We have received reports that individuals claiming to be insiders are offering to change candidates’ scores for money. We urge the public to ignore such claims and report any suspicious activity,” KNEC stated.
Officials reiterated that examination results are secure and cannot be manipulated outside official channels.
