Odhiambo emphasized the importance of preserving LSK’s independence.
“This consequential moment calls for all rule of law institutions to remain unified and resolute,” she stated. “Especially the Law Society of Kenya,” she stressed.

“I will continue to prosecute matters on behalf of victims of police excesses,” she affirmed. “We must safeguard holistic justice for victims,” she added.
She also highlighted gaps in Kenya’s victim reparations framework.
“There remains a significant gap that must be addressed urgently,” she warned. “LSK will engage stakeholders to fix these legal infirmities,” she promised.
