Oscar Sudi Blasts Uhuru Kenyatta Over Gen Z Advice: “Stop Inciting Youths!”
Uasin Gishu was abuzz this Sunday, April 27, as leaders hit back hard at former President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi and Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa did not mince their words.
They accused Uhuru of inciting the youth against the Kenya Kwanza government.
Sudi Calls Out Uhuru’s ‘Rude Behavior’
Speaking passionately at ACK Tumaini Church, Sudi launched a blistering attack.
He accused the former president of hypocrisy and betrayal.
“I never wanted to respond to you on this matter, but since you have behaved rudely, I ask you to desist from inciting youths against the Kenya Kwanza regime,” Sudi fired back.
Without hesitation, Sudi reminded Uhuru of the financial mess he left behind.
“You took a lot of loans for this country and left us in a place where we will be forced to repay in the next 40 years,” he charged.
Furthermore, Sudi blasted Kenyatta for failing to create jobs during his time in power.
He argued that President William Ruto is working tirelessly to fix the broken economy left behind.
Barasa Accuses Uhuru of Fake Love for Youths
Similarly, Didmus Barasa did not hold back.
He urged President Ruto to ignore the noise and stay focused on service delivery.
“A lot of noise is being made by a section of leaders; it should not distract us,” Barasa stated.
He went further, accusing Uhuru of pretending to care for the youth.
“The former president has begun inciting the youths; he is behaving as if he loves them more than their parents,” Barasa exclaimed.
Additionally, Barasa recalled a major blunder during Uhuru’s administration.
“I want to remind him that when he was president, he had an opportunity to appoint a person as chairperson of the sports fund in government but chose to appoint a 91-year-old Moody Awori,” he revealed.
Uhuru’s Message to Gen Z Sparks Firestorm
The controversy erupted after Kenyatta’s speech in Kampala, Uganda, on April 25.
During a leadership summit, Uhuru called on youths to champion good governance and reject short-term political deals.

“No one is coming to save us, and as the world turns increasingly inward, the places to seek refuge are rapidly disappearing,” he warned.
Furthermore, he declared, “The youth must embrace their role as the freedom fighters of this era.”
Yet, back home, Uhuru’s message divided opinion sharply.
Kenyan politicians are now battling over whether his remarks inspired change—or dangerously stoked unrest.
Clearly, tensions between Kenya’s past and present leadership are far from over.
