Pastor Ng’ang’a Chases Elderly Woman Out of Kesha: “Staki Wazee Hapa”

Controversial preacher Pastor James Ng’ang’a is making headlines again. This time, he chased an elderly woman from his overnight prayer service, citing her old age.

A viral video captured Ng’ang’a questioning his church’s security officers for allowing the woman into the kesha service. He had earlier banned both children and the elderly from attending.

Ng’ang’a’s Harsh Remarks

“How did this old person find herself here? Why is this old person here? I told security I don’t want old people and children here. Who has brought this old woman? She was here yesterday. What is she doing at kesha? You will turn this place into Shakahola,” Ng’ang’a declared, referencing the Shakahola cult tragedy that shocked the nation.

Ordered to Leave Immediately

He ordered the woman to leave, insisting she should sleep elsewhere. He claimed he could not allow her to stay in the night service.

“So can this elderly woman survive the cold? Go and sleep. Please respect orders. You will bring me issues here. Take your belongings and go. Take her somewhere to sleep,” he insisted.

Public Reaction to the Incident

The video has sparked mixed reactions. Some defended the preacher’s decision, while others criticized him for lacking compassion. Social media exploded with opinions on the incident.

Social Media Reactions

  • “This is so heartless! A church should be a place for everyone.”
  • “He has rules. If he doesn’t want kids and old people there, people should respect that.”
  • “Jesus welcomed all. Why is a pastor sending people away?”
  • “Shocking behavior from a man of God.”

What Next for Pastor Ng’ang’a?

The preacher remains unapologetic. His strict rules continue to stir debate on the role of religious leaders in creating inclusive spaces.
