This attack follows a similar incident three months ago when seven police officers were injured by an improvised explosive device (IED) on Gadudia–Laga Road. The explosion occurred between Aresa and Khalalio on July 8.
“Six officers sustained serious injuries,” police reports confirmed. “Only one escaped unharmed,” the report added.
These repeated attacks have left residents terrified and questioning the effectiveness of current security strategies.
