State House Advisor Moses Kuria Mocks Rigathi Gachagua’s Political Tactics in Mt Kenya

In a fiery outburst, President Ruto’s economic advisor Moses Kuria has taken a brutal swipe at former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, accusing him of pushing dictatorship and fear politics in the Mt Kenya region.

Posting online with heavy sarcasm, Kuria branded Gachagua’s political tactics as dangerous and manipulative.

“The Making of a Dictator,” Kuria wrote, before launching into a stinging critique.

Mocking Loyalty Demands and Party Control

Kuria ripped into Gachagua’s Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP), saying it is just a tool for control, not progress.

He mocked what he described as Gachagua’s demands for blind loyalty from governors, artists, and even voters.

“1. Governor Irungu Kang’ata, no matter how hard you work, if you don’t follow me, you’re a one-term governor,” Kuria posted.

He didn’t stop there.

“2. I will personally interview all DCP candidates to weed out the uneducated,” he wrote mockingly.
“3. All other parties in Mt Kenya are sellouts.”
“4. All leaders not following me are brainless.”
“5. Musicians not singing my praise are ‘tukunias and tugeges’. Boycott them!”

“What Next?” Kuria Asks

In his most biting line yet, Kuria said:

“What next… All women whose first name is not Dorcas are sellouts and won’t go to heaven?”

His remarks triggered instant reactions online, with many hailing his bravery, while others accused him of fueling political disunity.

Slams Nyoro and Ethnic Politics

At a separate event in Meru, Kuria condemned regional leaders for dividing Mt Kenya along ethnic lines.

Though he avoided names, he clearly aimed his comments at Gachagua and his allies.

Moreover, Kuria attacked Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro for what he called “double standards.”

“You chaired the Budget Committee. You were silent then. Now you’re loud?” Kuria asked.

Nyoro recently criticized the government for misusing social security funds. But Kuria wasn’t buying it.

“It’s hypocritical to speak up only after being removed,” Kuria said sharply.

Politics or Power Games?

Kuria’s message was loud and clear — Mt Kenya’s political future should not be built on intimidation, division, or blind loyalty.

“This region deserves respect, not fear,” said a supporter at the Meru event.

As 2025 politics heat up, Kuria’s bold words have thrown fuel into an already raging fire.
