“We Will Not Tolerate Cheating” — Ministry Issues Strong Statement
In a statement released Tuesday morning, the Ministry confirmed that isolated cases of exam malpractice had already been reported. Those involved are now in police custody.
“There have been isolated attempts at examination malpractices. Individuals who have been implicated have been arrested and the incidents are under investigation,” the Ministry stated.

“Immediate action will be taken against any individuals who will be found to be in violation of the applicable rules and regulations.”
This warning comes as the government intensifies efforts to ensure fairness and credibility in the national exams.

“He was not working in accordance with the regulations that were set,” said Narok County Director of Education Apollo Apuko. “Therefore, the Deputy Principal will take over and run the examinations until they end.”
The suspension has triggered a full investigation into the school’s conduct during the exam period.
