Justin Muturi Slams Fake Exposé Claims, Calls Out Malicious Propaganda

Former Public Service Cabinet Secretary Justin Muturi has firmly denied allegations that he is planning to expose wrongdoing in President William Ruto’s government following his recent dismissal.

A viral social media post suggested that Muturi was preparing to reveal corruption, human rights violations, and nepotism within the Kenya Kwanza administration. The post falsely quoted him, stating, “I am now a free man. I will table all the evil deals Ruto has been doing in his government.”

Muturi has labeled the statement as “pure fabrication” and accused malicious actors of trying to mislead the public.

Muturi Breaks Silence

On Friday, March 28, Muturi took to his official social media platforms to distance himself from the allegations. He posted an image of the viral quote with a bold “FAKE” stamp across it, warning Kenyans against believing false information.

“DISCLAIMER: FAKE QUOTE ALERT. A false quote is being circulated in my name. This is pure fabrication by malicious actors attempting to distort facts.” he wrote.

He emphasized the importance of relying on verified sources and official communication channels, urging Kenyans to be vigilant against misinformation.

Public Reaction and Political Speculations

Muturi’s strong response sparked mixed reactions online. Some Kenyans commended him for addressing the matter promptly, while others speculated about possible political motives behind the viral post.

Political analysts believe that his sacking from the Public Service docket has fueled speculation about his next political move. However, Muturi has not publicly indicated any plans to challenge the government or join the opposition.

A Warning Against Misinformation

The former CS urged the public to be cautious and avoid falling for diversionary tactics. He stated that spreading falsehoods only fuels unnecessary political tension.

“Let’s not fall for diversionary tactics. Truth always prevails,” he concluded.

With fake news becoming a growing challenge in Kenya’s political landscape, Muturi’s case highlights the urgent need for fact-checking before sharing information online.
