In separate notices issued on Monday, February 23, both counties confirmed that staff salaries had been adjusted in line with the 3rd Salary Review conducted by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC).
“This is to inform all staff that the February 2026 payslips reflect an increase in salaries following the implementation of the 3rd Salary Review by SRC,” Muok stated.
“The adjustments form part of the approved National Government policy directives and have now been applied accordingly. Staff are therefore advised to review their February 2026 payslips to note the changes,” the notice added.
“This is to inform all the County staff that the approved salary review as advised by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) for 2024/2025 has been implemented with effect from February 2026,” read part of Turkana County’s notice.
“The Turkana County Government remains committed to ensuring compliance with Salaries and Remuneration Commission guidelines and enhancing staff welfare,” the memo added.
