In a fiery tweet on Sunday, April 20, Amisi warned opposition leaders to steer clear of ethnic politics. Instead, he urged them to focus on unity and the youth vote.
“If you are a presidential candidate and wish Ruto to go home, stop playing tribal arithmetic,” Amisi stated. “Focus on the United Voice and voters’ cards of the young people.”
According to him, tribal politics is a trap. Incumbents, he said, have enough resources to buy off tribal leaders and their supporters. “You won’t win in this manner!” he warned sharply.
Ruto’s Tactics: Money, Influence, and Targeting ODM Strongholds
Amisi didn’t stop there. He accused Ruto of using state resources to manipulate ODM and force Raila Odinga into cooperating until 2027.
“Ruto is giving a lot of money to a few people close to Raila and many Nyanza leaders,” Amisi alleged. “He wants to twist the ground to force Baba to work with Ruto.”
Caleb Amisi Declares “Hurricane 2027” Will Sweep Ruto Out of Power
The legislator claimed bloggers are also being paid handsomely to attack ODM members who resist this so-called “broad-based” agenda.
“Bloggers have been paid handsomely to attack us and propagate broad-based nonsense,” he claimed.
Ruto’s Defeat is Certain, Says Amisi
Despite these tactics, Amisi remains confident. He believes Ruto’s downfall in 2027 is inevitable.
“The Hurricane Catarina which will hit Ruto in 2027 is still doing press-ups,” Amisi said poetically. “Kenyans have made a solemn decision to send Ruto home for the sake of the sovereignty of the state of Kenya.”
