William Ruto Calls Kenyans Opposed to Livestock Vaccination Fools: “Mimi Niko Na PhD”
Speaking in Garissa County on Thursday, February 6, Ruto dismissed critics, questioning their expertise on the matter.
Ruto Mocks Opponents
Opposed to Livestock Vaccinationand failing to understand the importance of vaccination. He also dismissed claims that billionaire Bill Gates was behind the initiative.
“You are listening to someone who grows cowpeas telling you not to vaccinate cattle. You’ve been vaccinating your livestock all these years. Then someone comes with rumors to change your mind,They say there is someone called Bill Gates. Where is that Gates here in Garissa? These cattle are ours, and the doctors are ours too. Aren’t these vaccines from Kabete? So where does Bill Gates come in? Ruto said.
“I Have a PhD, They Should Go to Hell”
Opposed to Livestock Vaccination He called them primitive and uneducated, saying he was qualified to speak on vaccination.

“Those are foolish matters, and they can go to hell. You see someone speaking, and you don’t even know where they studied. But here I am with a PhD,” Ruto declared.
He questioned why people with limited education were trying to challenge him. “You find people with very little education trying to teach me. What are they teaching me?”
Vaccination Faces Growing Resistance
Despite the government’s push, opposition to the campaign remains strong. Some leaders and members of the public have raised concerns, though the president remains firm.
As the debate continues, Ruto insists that the vaccines are safe and necessary. He urges Kenyans to ignore misinformation and protect their livestock.
