Morara Kebaso Clashes with Oscar Sudi Over Activism: ‘Don’t Sell Me Fear!
Nairobi – A heated war of words erupted between civic educator Morara Kebaso and Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi. Their bitter exchange highlighted accusations, counter-claims, and deep-seated animosities.
Sudi’s Accusations Ignite Controversy
Oscar Sudi accused Kebaso of exploiting Kenyan youth, particularly Gen Z, for personal gain. He alleged that Kebaso’s activism incited chaos while lacking constructive impact. “We see through your charade—you are a mouthpiece for your paymaster and a willing pawn in his divisive agenda,” Sudi declared.
Sudi also claimed that Kebaso misled Kenyans under the guise of activism. According to him, Kebaso fleeces Kenyans instead of providing genuine solutions to the country’s issues.
Kebaso Fires Back with Defiance
Morara Kebaso responded sharply, rejecting Sudi’s allegations and defending his activism. “Yes, I am indeed funded by Kenyans. These same Kenyans pay you a very big salary to do and say nothing in Parliament,” Kebaso retorted.

He accused Sudi of failing in his parliamentary duties and enriching himself through dubious deals. His statement also criticized the MP’s lavish lifestyle, questioning his political credibility.
A Challenge to Leadership
Kebaso dismissed threats from Sudi and warned him against intimidation. “Don’t threaten me, and don’t sell me fear, Oscar. I want to argue with fellow presidential candidates, not MPs,” he declared.
He further hinted at Sudi’s political ambitions, predicting a future clash if Sudi sought an Inject Party ticket in upcoming elections. Kebaso didn’t hold back, stating that Sudi’s rightful place was “behind bars.”
The Bigger Picture
This exchange sheds light on the growing divide between activists and political leaders. Kebaso’s bold stance resonated with his supporters, fueling debates on leadership and accountability. Meanwhile, Sudi’s allegations stirred questions about activism’s role in Kenya’s democracy.
