Esther Musila’s Children Defend Mum, Stepfather Guardian Angel Amid Disinheritance Rumours: “Unfair”
Children of Kenyan media personality Esther Musila have publicly come to her defence, dismissing widespread social media claims alleging that she was disinherited from her late husband’s multimillion-shilling estate.
According to the circulating claims, Musila’s son, Gideon Mallan Naibei, had successfully challenged her role in court, citing lack of transparency and alleged concealment of assets, including undisclosed shares. The rumours also suggested that the court had ordered the estate to be shared equally among Naibei’s three children.

In a detailed statement, Gilda clarified that the issues currently circulating online date back several years and do not reflect the present situation of the family.
“I woke up to see that we were trending. I am not one to address rumours, but I find it necessary to clarify a few things. First, whatever is currently circulating dates back to 2017. We are now in 2026,” she said.
She acknowledged that disagreements can occur within families but emphasized that respect for their mother remains unwavering.
“While families may disagree, one thing remains clear my mother is a true matriarch. As her children, we respect and honour her leadership. Together with my late father, she built a foundation that we are all fortunate to benefit from, and that is where I firmly stand,” she added.
“I am only addressing this matter because there are clear attempts to attack Guardian Angel. The truth is, he has been nothing but a source of healing and positivity in our lives,” she stated.
“For the record, Guardian Angel was not present when the original legal decisions and changes were made… Attempts to portray him negatively are both unfair and inaccurate,” Gilda said, describing him as an accomplished individual with independent success.
Echoing her sentiments, Glenn Naibei provided additional clarification on the family’s legal processes, stating that all succession procedures following their father’s death in 2016 were conducted lawfully and transparently.
“Following the passing of our father in 2016, our family lawfully undertook the process of succession. Letters of administration were duly issued, with our mother serving as the head administrator, alongside us as beneficiaries,” he explained.
Glenn firmly dismissed allegations that their mother had been disinherited, calling the claims false and misleading.

“We would like to state clearly and unequivocally that these claims are false. There has been no disinheritance of our mother at any point,” he said.
“Like many families, we have had internal legal processes over time… These are normal legal mechanisms and do not reflect division or conflict within our family as is being portrayed publicly,” Glenn added.
The family also dismissed allegations directed at Guardian Angel, terming them baseless and malicious.
As speculation continues online, the statements from Musila’s children seek to set the record straight, urging the public to rely on verified information and respect the privacy of the family during sensitive legal and personal matters.
