Former Police Officer Brutally Kills Wife, Assaults House Help in Pipeline
A Family Torn Apart
Nabwire leaves behind a one-year-old child, who was in the house when the tragedy unfolded.
Her grieving mother recalled that the suspect came home angry and suspicious.
“He accused my daughter of cheating. He demanded her phone, passwords, and even her M-Pesa PIN,” she said.
Escalating Violence
After Nabwire refused to comply, the suspect reportedly forced her into humiliating acts.
“He removed his clothes and took a picture. Then he demanded Susan do the same and take another picture with him,” the distraught mother added.
The argument dragged on through the night. Around 3am, the situation turned fatal.
A Brutal Killing
The family’s house help recounted the chilling moment the man snapped.
“He was arguing with Susan all night. Then he went to the bathroom and returned with an axe,” she narrated.
“He struck her neck and head. Then he grabbed a rope and strangled her.”
But the horror didn’t stop there.
“After that, he stabbed her in the eyes, telling her she would die watching,” the house help continued.
Once Nabwire collapsed, the suspect shoved her body under the bed before turning to the house help.
Sexual Assault and Escape
In a shocking twist, he sexually assaulted the terrified house help.
“After attacking Susan, he came for me. I begged for mercy, but he raped me,” she revealed.
The man then locked the house, leaving behind his wife’s body, the traumatised house help, and the toddler. He escaped with their phones.
Police Intervention
Police later broke into the house and moved Nabwire’s body to Mama Lucy Hospital Mortuary, where it remains preserved.
The ex-officer was finally arrested on August 23. He is currently detained at Embakasi Police Station and will soon face murder and sexual assault charges.
A Community in Shock
Neighbours described Nabwire as a cheerful woman whose life was cut short by cruelty. The case has sparked renewed calls for stricter action against gender-based violence.
